This video is a follow up to this video:

"The Argument's Logical Jim but Not as We Know It"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEI2x_8C19U

In a turn of events that took only the intellectually challenged by surprise, Chad Elliott, the Atheist Killa didn't agree with the overall premise of my last video and he made a video response to me.

He has posted his reply as a video response down below but if he has retracted it by the time you see it you can find it here:

"THE QUESTION PAULCHARTLEY WONT ANSWER"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgTYJm1tcnA

You won't be shocked to find out that Chad denies that I have defeated his argument and he claims that I would not answer an important question which is:

"HOW"" DOES SOMETHING ETERNAL, SPACELESS, IMMATERIAL, AND DOESNT EXIST ANYWHERE, CREATE OUR "PHYSICAL UNIVERSE?"

Now my third option is that the universe came into existence all by itself without a cause or a creator so I fail to understand how I can show him where the cause is when I am saying that there isn't one.

I contend that this is a complete and utter failure to comprehend basic English on his part and that contrary to his insistence that he has not asked me an unanswerable question, this question cannot be answered by me because it is a question about Chads proposed argument and not mine.

He makes a whole fifteen minute video about how I will not tell him what caused a causeless universe which in my book is self ownage on a grand and epic scale.

In this video I ask him to explain a couple of the more hilarious moments in his masterful moronic monologue and I clearly show that I have answered the question he says that I haven't in a logical, accurate and detailed way several times and I once again restate exactly what my proposed third option to his argument is and I challenge him to demonstrate that it does not defeat his argument.

He has all of the information that he needs to do this without needing me to answer questions that are designed to trip me up so he can claim that I am proposing something that I am not

And yes, he still insists in writing in block capitals

  • HOW CAN YOU NOT UNDERSTAND CHADS ARGUMENT

    1. TYPE IN ALL CAPS

    2. ???

    3. WIN ARGUMENT!!

    PROBLEM?

  • This guy needs to learn how to use words and caps lock correctly. BECAUSE IT'S REALLY ANNOYING WHEN SOMEONE TYPES LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVE NORMAL PUNCTUATION AFTERWARD. Learn to type correctly and not change peoples arguments then maybe people will respect you more. Maybe.

  • @braunblender OK, A god. My bad. I thought you were referring to the Christian God. As I said in my post, only pagans worshiped things of the creation, not the creator. Of course I have heard these things. Perhaps you need to reread my post. Maybe I overuse the term pagan. I use the term to encompass all religions that worship a part of the earth instead of a creator.

  • @Deke101 i never said god, i specifically said "A GOD" made the sun rise and set. seriously you've never heard this stuff and you study religious studys. .look up

Surya, a hindu god, Amaterasu (Japan) goddess. just do a search online for appeasing volcano gods. ive got to say it again. . you do religious studies and youve not heard of these things??

  • @braunblender Where does it say God made the sun set and rise 2000 years ago? Strawman. Nothing in my religious studies, other than pagans does it say volcanoes were caused by angry gods. Now you mix apples and oranges. You seem to affix the label of ignorance where it does not apply. As I said before, I love science and I am still a believer in God. The two ar not mutually exclusive.

  • @Deke101 insanity was caused by demonic possession , now were know it due to chemical and structural anomalies in the brain. . the list is endless on what was attributed to god/s. and EVERY single time we have been able to explain it with simple logical scientific explanations. . given this track history the likelihood of a god creating the universe is as slim as the idea that the earth is the centre of the solar system and the sun and planets revolve around us

  • @Deke101 not really because your using 2 definitions of faith one being trust and one being illogical. throughout human and religious history the part of god/s is nothing more than the ignorance of humans. . 2000 years ago a god made the sun rise and set. . now we know its nothing more than the earth rotation on its axis. . volcanoes were cause by a god being angry. . now we know its nothing more than plate tectonics and geological hot spots

  • @Astrobrant2 I agree completely. I also believe the universe was created in such a way as to allow us to believe in God or not. Yes, I am a Christian, yes, I love science, and yes, we did indeed go to the moon.

  • @braunblender I would not argue that the universe as we know it CAN'Thave been without cause. I would simply say that the beginning of our universe, which is unknown to any of us, is a matter of faith just as the existence of God is.

  • @thedutchman01 I believe it goes farther than our ability to comprehend. I believe it is a fundamental property of the Universe.

  • @Astrobrant2 "There wasn't even a "before.""

Not in the meaning that we understand now.

But that doesnot necessarily mean that that is actually true. It just might be beyond our comprehension.

So it is an exercise in futility to really go into it. Atleast for now anyway.
