The only way to do that is to have AMD faster cpu to compete with Intel. Recently, Bulldozer just failed horribly, now Intel made shit and new lame cpu, like i5 2550k with just more unlock multipliers. Also, prices will not drop since there is no competition, so they can make CPU any price without worrying about losing money.
