Wild for Wildtree shows you how to prep 3 meals to put in the freezer and make later in the week: Chicken Marsala, Orange Fusion Chicken and Balsamic Wings. Prepping freezer meals reduces cooking time, increases flavor and tenderizes the meat. Visit http://wildforwildtreecooking.blogspot.com/ or www.facebook.com/wildforwildtree for the full recipes.

  • How do you prepare your meals once the portion's thawed? do you fry them, cook in foil or cut into pieces? What do you think goes better with those meals, potatoes, rice or does it not make difference? Thanks x

  • @991charlotte HI thanks for watching. Marsala is a pan fry in the sauce. I like this over rice or pasta. I bake the orange fusion (usually salmon but works the same just a little longer in the oven). This would be great over rice or with roasted potatoes and veggies. The balsamic drumsticks I cook in the crockpot.

Do let me know if you need the products and I can send you an email of the full recipes with instructions.

  • @wildforwildtree thanks for the reply. I love chicken so this is really helpful :) especially since frozen chicken breast is cheaper to buy :) you gave me some brill ideas for dinners but I will change them over abit as they don't sell Wildtree products in the UK (at least i think)

once again thanks for the lovely ideas! x

  • put oil in before the honey - honey won"t stick to the mesuring cup

  • @grammykathycc I am WAY past due on getting another version of these up. Each month to 6 weeks I hold a freezer meal workshop that allows people to make 10 meals they can use to stock their freezer. I'm happy to answer any questions for you as they come up. Having meals in the freezer makes a WORLD of difference for our family in keeping costs down and healthfulness UP;) my email is wildforwildtree@gmail.com or you can reach me via phone at 310-850-6443. Yvonne

  • Thanks for the reply. I am still trying to figure out how freezer cooking works. I appreciate how clear your video instructions were.

  • @grammykathycc Yes we will as long as it is not the SAME chicken meal all 4 days. ;) But I tend to make all chicken one of these sessions and in another few days do a beef or pork session so that I have variety in the freezer. Or on the non home cooked meal night we get variety in from take out.

  • Will your family eat 4 chicken meals in one week?
