@SuperSimonuk THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT POST. What GaGa fans fail to realize is that Madonna gave a platform for GaGa to even exist. These days, a singer can invent themselves in any forms as references of others are so easy to find. When MAdonna came out, there was no internet to google looks and what youtube clips of singers to "pay homage to" This is why performers coming out now seems so inauthentic, because they can always easily reference someone else.

@danielcoxphotog Nothing I said was an assumption, all facts. I agree with you, Gaga has said many of times that Madge is her idol. However, that does not excuse her from using this idolization to copy many of madonna's looks, characteristics and in this case, her sound. Idolizing someone is perfectly fine, but imitating them and using it for gain is wrong.

Gaga has spoken in countless interviews about her Idols - including Madonna. She loves Madonna. She. Loves. Madonna. She's said that Madge is her idol. She isn't trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes and make them think she's not referencing her. Comments like yours are based on assumption, and it's the blind leading the blind when people pay attention to you.

@caradecaballo Yeah, but she's been making music for nearly 30 years now... Gaga, right out the gate was imitating others. Don't get me wrong, I love Gaga, and I don't think she blatantly copies or anything, but at this point in her career, it would be great if she'd rely on fresh ideas.
