It's midnight on Tuesday and the Metro's Hollywood & Western Red Line station is swarming with maintenance people. They are using industrial scrubbing machines, they are using truck mounted steam cleaners, they are using old fashioned brushes and elbow grease. They had a truck load of chemicals and deodorizers delivered, enough to require four people to unload and transport.
From top to bottom, this station is getting scrubbed and mopped and polished.
It doesn't get better than this!
I'm glad that MTA is now coordinating clean-up. After all, the subway represents a multi-Billion dollar investment.
