  • You mentioned drying the stalk and leaves for the infusions, but do you also include the flowers as well (in other words the whole plant except the roots)? Also, how do you heat it up for when you're ready to drink it, do you microwave it or use some other method?

Thank you SO much for your videos, I learn so much from you Susun. Bless you and your family for helping the rest of us learn the people's medicine.

  • @BigMamaRaven - heat up in a pan on the stove. I would put the microwave on the curb. Yes, thw whole plant, except the roots.

  • not like coffee, more like honey...

  • On microwave ovens: these destroy a great deal of the nutrient value of any food. The molecular structure of whatever you put in the microwave is altered in unnatural ways. Personally, I would not even use one to heat water. Not to mention the harmful electromagnetic fields they create when in use. I second Susun Weed's advice: put it on the curb or take it to the dump, or scrap recycler.

  • I just found a huge mullein plant up at a construction site! well, there's a ton of them- but this ones beautiful. I can't wait to harvest it, and this infusion sounds delicious. I think I'm gonna try to make a tincture too - I was wondering if I should put the leaves and flowers in the tincture?

  • That CANNOT be her real name.
