Tales of Destiny 2 PS2 Boss 14 -- Barbatos 3 (Hard)

The final encounter with Barbatos, boss #14, is not as difficult as Barbatos 2 if a specific strategy is employed. Barbatos 3 takes significant damage from spells, with physical attacks being less impressive, but an automatic spell counter comes into play when he loses 50% of his HP: the boss will counter spells with Air Pressure/Negative Gate, targeting the original caster. This counter makes mages useless in the second half of this fight, but a spell-cancelling mage can distract Barbatos while the other characters attack him physically. Repeatedly spell-cancelling in the back of the formation means that the melee fighters are doing more damage up front since Barbatos is too busy casting spells to use his physical attacks. Even with this distraction strategy, Barbatos does damage to the frontline characters and the battle will drag on because lengthy combos are impossible with AI-controlled allies. Average party level is 51, difficulty: hard.

I thought I was doing bad on this one, but after I finished the battle, I got a whopping 60.00 GRADE! whoa, and all I did was command Harold to use Execution and I controlled Judas using Prism Flasher, while AI Kyle and Loni beat the crap outta him

@foxfalcowolf1989 for barby3 he doesn't counter items but he will counter heal and spells which is really irritating cause of his high defense which make melee attacks only tickle him..

barby 2 is the worse one since he counter BOTH items and spells :(
