Landscapes of Occupation in Palestine

Ex-Communicated tells the story of Israeli occupation in Palestine through the genre of landscape and the perspective of a camera lens.  In his series of remarkable photographs, Gary Fields, a professor of communication at the University of California, San Diego takes us behind the walls, gates, and fences of this deliberately fragmented geography in revealing Palestinian life under Israeli military rule.  What he shows in these images is how the forces of occupation use the landscape as an instrument of control over Palestinians and a mechanism for dispossessing them of land and property.  Much of this story is untold and largely unseen.  These photos convey forcefully how the process of enclosure on the landscape has “ex-communicated” Palestinians, immobilizing them into ever-diminishing spaces, while at the same time inspiring them into heroic acts of peaceful resistance.

The Illegal excommunication of the Palestinian people is a sad reality Israels construction of barriers and roadblocks are unjust and wrong how can a country illegally occupy and settle land that isn't even their own and then subject the Palestinians to oppression within their own territory The wall and barriers were supposed to keep Israelis safe the wall however communicates all that Palestinians endured and severs as a daily reminder that they are inferior to Israeli which is sad and unjust.

Last I checked the ottoman empire ruled the land from 1553-1922 before they were defeated in WWI in 1922 by the British. And the Turks(ottoman) are not Arabs (Palestinian).

Why is it, the Palestinians aren't persecuting the Jordanians who occupy 4/5's of the land that was set aside for the Palestine Mandate? Where as Israel owns less than 1/5 of the land in the Palestine Mandate?

My facts are very right and supported by mainstream historians and scientists.Israel as a state or self rule existed from 12th century B/CE to 1 century with jewish self rules in 4th and 7th century.Jewish majority existed in the Land of Israel from 12th century B.CE to the 8 century.Never ever in history a state,nation or people called palestine existed and Muslim Arabs started to use this hellenized Hebrew name for themselves only after the reestablishment of Israel
