I am from germany. In the media was a bad case mentioned where 4 young guys went to punch a worker in a subway. They hit the worker so hard, that he remained a long time in the coma.

When I heard this I wished Bozepe was there for help.....

I prefer the 70 30 foot positioning, its just wing chun stance then you turn. its like a boxer stance except your not turned from them you still face them with your upper body

@musclepieformybaby I dont follow the wing chun stance strictly when I mix Wing Chun with Muay Thai Kicks. Yes Muay Thai has a different way of striking and I use Wing Chun Techniques only if they compliment Muay Thai and what works for me personally might not work for everybody.

@777ELDEMONIO well u see after chain punch there is an elbow follow up in wing chun but if u are leaning back and trying an elbow jab or a cross it is a mistake in my opinion.Switching to muay thai techs u mentioned before after a chain punch means giving up the base stance + follow up stance in wing chun.

Also there is something like an inside low thai kick in my wc system (IKWTS) but going out with a normal thai kick is strictly forbidden.

I respect the opinion tho..

@musclepieformybaby I disagree I like using chain punching knees elbow jab cross & thai kick I use this combination a lot it works well for me. Ive trained Muay Thai 15 years & only been doing Wing Chun for 12 months total beginner in Wing Chun . I also use Wing Chuns Front heel Kick in combination with my low Thai Kicks.

@777ELDEMONIO well i did muay thai for 2 years and i've switched to wc and been doin it for 3 months and i think lots of people are right..muay thai uses theory of roundness for punches and kicks while wc goes in a straight hitting fashion...

even the stances are too different from one another.U cannot mix muay thai with wing chun IMO u gotta use and stick to one during a fight
