Endophyte infected tall fescue can be a great forage source for livestock if managed properly. Prior to management practices, producers should sample their fescue pastures or hay meadows to determine the level of infection. Endophyte testing is inexpensive and easy to perform. This video will take you step by step thru the proper sampling technique. For more information on endophyte testing, please visit your local county extension office. Produced by Dr. Doug Shoup, K-State Research and Extension Agronomy Specialist and Delta George, Bourbon County Extension Agent.
