This is one of my favorite songs by Phyllis. It is so deep, warm precious, caring and romantic. She had such expression and phrasing that she told a story and sang a symphony at the same time. You can feel and hear the emotion in her voice as if it is a direct conduit to her soul. If only she had the kind of "old friend" that she sings about here - she might still be here. Props to Tony Brown and the others at WDAS in Philly for keeping her spirit alive. And @mixnfx76, thanks for posting!
