After a few months of jealous peeking from behind the waggling shoulders of Kinect users, the PS3 community can finally enjoy the latest synesthetic shooter experience from the creator of Rez, with PlayStation Move and (for the lucky ones) in stereoscopic 3D. Wonder how it turned out? Hit play to find out!

As usual, the following analysis describes how the PlayStation Move controls work, but does also provide a comparison with those of the original Kinect release.

  • When you talk about the calibration and to not extend your arm and point up, should that be taken into consideration with other shooter calibration techniques? I seem to be having calibration issues and I'm wondering if that's what's going wrong. Thanks

  • @SillyHerpFamily The safest way to go is to point the Move at the PS Eye camera from your normal playing stance (ie not extending your arm). You don't need to be accurate so there is no need to rise your arm to aim "down the Move" anyway. Just point in the general Eye direction. In the case of Child of Eden, rising the arm is especially bad due to the way its cursor works compared to other shooters such as Killzone 3.

  • I'm thinking about buying this game. I heard a couple months ago that it would cost around $25 when it launched on PS3 but I've seen it on Amazon around $40.

inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood works great with Move. Will you be posting a Move analysis video for inFAMOUS soon?

  • @daKandiman14 Yep. InFamous is next. Gonna take a while tho. Hopefully next week. And yes, it works great!

  • great video as always.

I must know where to get that Vib Ribbon shirt!!!

  • @Accordi0n aha, nice catch ;) That was a Sony gift back in the days. One of those promotional stuff that come along with review codes for press.

  • ur vids are more informative than ign,gt and gamespot videos.

  • I don't have Move nor Kinect, but I like watching your videos because of your methodology and your high attention to the tiniest details.

  • Can you please make a video reviewing the Move support on the new Grand Slam Tennis 2?

  • I noticed that in the comparisons that despite the vibrancy in the xbox version the ps3 version seems more clear. If you look closely in the backgrounds in the xbox versions it's so dark it's as if the contrast that is the bright lights are being made more apparent by over emphasizing to contrast. I can see details i the ps3 version than the Xbox version.

  • Thanks for this Anaysis TTP. Believe it or not I had no idea how the cursor worked during actual gameplay so was put off when I started playing and it wasn't working like a typical cursor.

  • Another great video. Ceep it up. Fan from Slovenia here(you are Italian wright?) Will you be doing House of the Dead: Overkill EC analysis?

  • Up on lightining deals on amazon.com for $20 gogogo.

  • @Waggle3D
