Travel Blogging Competition - Winning Submission Video

This is my original submission video for Flight Centre's Best Travel Job Ever I never thought I would win a travel blogging contest, especially a vlogging competition. I worked hard for this one.
My video was chosen as a semi finalist and I was sent backpacking in Peru and had to Video Blog my trip. Upon returning I had to edit my video content and submit 3 more. I was chosen as a Grand Prize winner in Aug 2010 and was sent to travel Australia with an HD video camera. It was an amazing adventure. You can win these contests, you just need some hard work. Now, whenever I travel, video blogging is a must.

Nice! People always said the same thing to me- I never knew the names of any celebrities, but I knew all about the animals and insects of the forest.

@friskyb I concur. Some of my happiest memories from childhood are of hiking around in the woods near my grandma's house in Wisconsin, catching tadpoles and salamanders. So much fun. After watching your vids I'm pretty sure I need to take a trip to South America so I can see the rainforest up close. Looks like you had an incredible time.

BTW, I have no idea who Katy Perry is ;)
