Everything The Who did between 1989-1996 (not much) with all the additional players was... odd. I was glad when Pete felt his hearing had improved enough to start thrashing out on the electric again. Even without Moonie, they did some amazing shows between 2000-2002, and the Concert For NYC in the wake of 9/11 was FANTASTIC.

@neurocosm No, Pete played banjo, John played trumpet, french horn, and piano.

@johnflaherty I love John -- in Quadrophenia I love his bass at The Real Me. John used to say that he does not play bass, but bass guitar



The best part of this performance is the fact that it takes two drummers to replace one Keith Moon.
