grok: Abortion Moratorium

I deeply sympathize but I have been silent for too many years regarding the mainstream acceptability of abortion. The video looks like a b-b-b-b-budget cut public service announcement so that's the category I chose. I hope I don't appear as too judgmental but I'm tougher than woodpecker lips. "If you're pregnant, it's a baby". I thought I would re-record it before I even started rolling but this upload is only my first take. It's from the bottom of my heart & soul and the top of my mind. I was reading from my computer screen (I write better than I speak). One thing I forgot is that men & women get pregnant sometimes due to failed prophylactics or birth control. So, it's not always an outright matter of irresponsibility. Something else I neglected to mention is the fact that women will continue to get abortions whether it is legal or not; if an unlawful act, they are prone to health issues of their own. Especially since Roe vs. Wade it won't go away. I don't have an outright opinion on whether abortion should be outlawed. Because of the precedent that seems Draconian. I just wish it were minimized. If words from a stranger can influence one person not to go through with the abortion of precious life or unwanted pregnancy: then it's worth it.

Well said, and I wish we could make this Horror stop. I get sick when I think of all the human waste. And these woman that have Abortions, do suffer emotional trauma and are scared for life.

appreciate your comment, thanx. It is a decision that a woman may deal with for the rest of her life if she does the procedure. At least she has her life though. Men aren't any better because they strong-arm women sometimes to conduct abortions. We as human beings are a throw-away species. "I have a problem that I can only fix by throwing it away". Erasure. Aborting mothers handle their fetus as a tumor--not a child. We must humanely stop using this as a method of contraception.

also, pay attention to Dr. Paul Ehrlich. he has said some outrageous things aligning human overpopulation, global warming, and abortion. i concede that mostly all pollutants and global warming are anthropogenic--but feel that ehrlich misses the mark because we should promote human charity and personal + public responsibility for carbon footprints and the like. his name comes to mind because i see a related video to my right titled "global warming and abortion".

EllioFilms is wrong , you do have the right to your opinion, whether it is wrong or right is the real stumper. This is THE one issue in which I have fell off the fence on one side or another . I can see and appreciate BOTH sides of the issue. And I have no viable solution to the issue at hand but I have to think that the answer lies in education, education and then more education!

thanx for comment, worf. it is 1 of those issues where mixed feelings overrule. i agree that education for prevention of unwanted pregnancy is probably the best solution. i just learned the dire nature of Fallopian pregnancy as result of some1's personal situation. i resent the men&women who use abortion as a method of birth control. that goes for us,india,china,anywhere else in the world. yours is 1 of the more intelligent comments i've rcvd in my 6mos on here--but elliofilms/songb? as well.

well said, i am still pro choice but i am also very for woman being responsible with there bodies too. if you dont want a baby there are so many things that you can do to not get pregnant and avoid the hole thing. but you have very good points and i hope this will change many women minds that are thinking that they might want to go that way with there lives. thank you and god bless
