Well, this is another tune to celebrate the fact that I have made a breakthrough with my right hand and now am capable of playing Steve Harris exclusively with my fingers. Yay me!! Yes, I know I have some emphasis details to hammer out and sometimes my timing is a fraction off, but what can I say? I just learned to do this last week!
This tune features some serious triplicate work....hence the reason I call Steve Harris the "galloping guru". For anyone wanting to know why Steve's triplets sound like DA-da-DA, it is because he doesn't use three fingers to produce them. His strong finger begins and ends the triplet, which helps to produce that distinctive sound. For me, that strong finger is my ring finger, reinforced (or alternated with) with the middle finger.
I thought about featuring this video with the smiliing faces of some of our more prominent politicians and flashing the fruits of their evil on the world through newspaper clippings and news footage, but frankly, I think we are all tired of seeing them. Needless to say, the evil that men do lives on and on...

Man, you are playing things made by most awesome bassist ever on most awesome Rickenbacker I've ever seen. Pure awesomness :) BTW, could you make some tutorials over Steve-like bass playing? Those triplets are sick, I'm sure that a lot of people wants to learn how to do this.
