A tribute to a Beautiful Woman who sadly lost her life through no fault of her own
Emma O'Kane, so tragically taken while enjoying a night out to celebrate her partner's bithday.
Off-duty at the pub where she was a barmaid, she fell victim to a terrible injury in a row where in which she was not involved.
She died at the scene in Heywood, Greater Manchester, on 27 December, 2008.
Her partner, Michael Shepherd, said: "She was the love of my life and kind-hearted.
"Emma was really popular - everyone said she was the best barmaid and she was a brilliant mother to three gorgeous kids."
Her mother Diane said: "Emma loved looking after people and planned to get a job in a nursing home.
"She loved her kids - they were everything to her and she was the best mum."

She was killed while on a night out. A man was refused into a local bar, he was having an argument outside with the bouncers and he threw a glass bottle inside the pub. It smashed into a pillar and a shard of glass got stuck into Emma's neck. She died later that evening in hospital.
