Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge Ending (Part 1)

A video of the strange ending of the classic game Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge. This is an extremely fun game set in the golden age of pirating, with a few things you wouldn't find in pirate times (like vending machines and secret tunnels to name a few). I had to split the video into two parts because it was well over 10 minutes.

Played using SCUMMVM and recorded using CamStudio, which is why the sand timer appears sometimes and why there are bloody lines on the edges. Hopefully that won't have too much of an effect on you.

I downloaded CamStudio and recorded a part of monkey island, but when I go to wtch it theres no sound! please help!

I haven't used it in ages but there's a bit where you can control what sound is being recorded. Make sure it's set to 'record sound from speakers'. Also find cursor options and turn the cursor off because the mistake I made was leaving it on.

horrible midi sounds. Amiga version or later rereleases with cd audio are the only acceptable alternative (or at least original pc version played on a pro soundcard)

I was playing it on SCUMMVM I have it on CD with Monkey Island 1 as a double pack but MI2 doesn't have sound on the CD for some reason?

my m8 said this ending to me in reg not to long ago and i burst out laughing and my reg teachers just looked at me weirdly =S .... but still im sold by this ending cant wait till no 3

Just downloaded Monkey Island 1 and 2 special edition with steam website.....all the memories flooding back with the class gameplay and music...not to mention a good pirate yarn or two..i might actually finish them this time too..lol At least i don't have to rely on an emulater like scummvm or dosbox which was a pain to use for the uninitiated in computer land....only cost 14 euros altogether to d/load too...not bad..it'll keep me out of the pub anyways, where i'll save a lot more

Just finished the Special Edition version of this game and I have to say, the voice acting for the segment at 2:21 is just PERFECT.
