and on a more related note, the 'music alone' has been life altering for me. i can't get enough of the national. i wish they would STOP touring and make more music. yeah that's selfish, but i admitted it...
be yourself, whatever that is. but don't cry. love the music for what it is, but don't expect a crowd to 'mosh' with at an indie concert.
other concerts are about the full package, lighting, moshing, bringing out your lighters at the right time. indie is really just about the music alone.
and furthermore, in my opinion one of the best bands to have come out in a long time! go see them live if you haven't yet. you can feel the music moving through you!
super8's an interesting format, it's too bad you couldn't get it in better quality. Anyways, great music and a great video, even if I don't think you managed to purvey the scenario you described in your comment it's still an interesting watch.
