  • Good way to shatter a cast iron stove into pieces and REALLY hurt yourself.

  • You can't aim a fresnel at a solar cell, it would shatter/melt in about 2 seconds

  • wow

  • preeety cool good for hot tubs

  • I wonder how Xtrema ceramic cookware would handle this cooking method. It's supposed to be able to handle heat that will melt an aluminum pan. In fact one youtube video show them melting an aluminum pan in an Xtrema ceramic pan. But I am interested since I thought it would be nice to do all my cooking with the sun thru a fresnel lens.

  • Put it on a pressure cooker pot and you will have steam turbine power generator. Water to vapor expands 1800x in mass, could power an automobile.

  • You should pee on it

  • Create a mirror system so the pan heats up from the bottom, then you can cook something, ,

  • @dama0023 You don't have to put the solar cell in the focus point. the further away from the focus the less likely you will damage the solar cell

  • how big a lens do you need?
