if anybody is critizing his technique your dumb...he almost jumped 30 ft,now maybe if that was considered a short distance you could talk,but 30ft is far,so dont talk about his technique uless you jump 30 feet!

Oh come on. Please enlighten me on physics? I like Pate, in fact I've met his Aunt before and had a conversation with her. I am merely saying that his technique has some problems. His last stride where he hits the board with his left foot is too far in front of his center of gravity. He uses a double arm technique which slows him down at the takeoff. He is spending too much time on the ground and losing speed because of it. Watch Eusebio Caceres 18 yr old 27' jumper or any european.
