@EmmetEarwax You can see that episode here on youtube. Just watched it about a month ago. I think it was thousandaire channel that has it. Great ep, even without the ending!

I recall one re-broadcast of an adlib that went awry. The previous week, Gleason played both Ralph Kramden AND a lookalike who was a mobster boss. Kramden was given a beautiful apartment - so he could be assassinated by a rival gang and thus prevent the murder of the real gangster boss. (In one scene machine gun fire shatters the funiture). The show cut the episode short, because Gleason ran out of broadcast time.
The next week he tried to adlib the rest of the story, but gets confused.
