Yesterday on Saturday March 10,2012 my church hosted a musical program and the 11th Masonic District Choir sung their 2 selections....then an older gentleman requested to sing a song named "How Far Is Heaven (I Wanna Know)"....within 30 seconds of the song ending, he collasped and died of an apparent heartattack right next to me....when I have flashbacks of that night, this songs plays in my head.....I just wish that his soul is resting because he left this Earth in the praise of God.

another great gospel song played on one of the greastest radio stations in chicago history...and of course that would be THE VOICE OF THE NEGRO...hey WVON...1450...I truly miss the guys in the white hats...some, no, a lot of you old schoolers know what i am talking about!!!

I love Sam's voice because he was truely blessed by GOD....but i can never forget brother Donny Hathaway. They are the 2 most soulful, stirring male voices of all times.
