I was in the clubs when this song came out, those were the days, when getting down was the main idea for going out. Unlike today the young people make it so hard on them selves, to have fun. When this song came out, it was in all the discos, yes I am that old, but man the party people would hit the floor and shake what their Mama gave them. We were looking Good too, those were the days when if was something to go out from Wednesday to Sunday and have a Great Time. The cost was also low!!!

@blakkone4000 I must say that sometimes I wish that I could get on that time machine, and go back my self. I know people say that they don't want to hear it, but things were a lot simpler and easier too. It did not cost so much to have fun back then, there was that feeling in the air when the weekend started, and for most of us that was Wednesday. So you see the priority was on fun and good times, and meeting new people. With Youtube you can still go back and visit, the Good Old Days. Peace!

This was back in the days where you could enjoy, listening to FatBack, SOS, Mass Production...kicking it at Avocado Lake, with my 63 Impala, Drop to the floor with Show lights at night with the Homies, having a great time. I wish some days like this would have never gone away. But it was all gooooood!!!!

@RDC1ofDC That is so true, if not for that technology help today's artists get, they have a hard time performing live on any stage. A lot of it is per recorded music, and a lot of lip sink or what ever. People pay so much for those tickets, and see a person just going through the motions is just outrageous.

@Fartogo56 I'm a near 40's year old (actually 38,so it's rather close) & I definitely agree, 2nd that emotion & 3rd of all APPROVED this message......for it is a damned shame that the so-called R&B artists we hear now with all the technology-based interference done got mixed into all we hear on the radio stations.....I SAY PHOOEEYY!!! Let's get back to the basics & put some real music back into circulation!!

MrTerrabyte007, in front of everyone: I have been listening to Rene' and Angela practically all my life (age 41 on 4Feb), and I didn't know their names until 2 years ago.The DJs played their music, but never said who it was. Once I found out who they were, I looked on YouTube, and found this. I could have sworn the DJs were saying ReneE' and Angela! As I look at the pix, I see a MAN named Rene,and a woman, Angela! I thought they were 2 women! I'm STUPID!
