@hugodrax71 Personally I think Enzo did Lauda a MASSIVE favour as it allowed Lauda to flourish with another team & also to prove to Ferrari he was capable of winning the title with another team, Mclaren in '84...Well done Niki I say !!!! A true hero of our sport & a wonderful ambassador to boot !! A survivor in the the extreme !!

Poor Niki !! Getting bullied by Enzo Ferrari to be back in the car by Monza was a pretty inhumane thing to do in order to 'make him' retain his World Championship crown...Ferrari I don't think gave a flying shit about his drivers as all he was interested in was being 'victorious'..a bit like Chapman who was also a ruthless bastard who's cars were weak structure wise & cost the lives of Clark, Rindt, Peterson, to name but a few lost legends..Thank God Niki wasn't one of them..Brave, brave man!!

niki lauda the greatest driver having very very very luck. and then 6 months later in monza starts lauda !. Amazing!!

the greatest Ferrari driver of them all...should have stayed at Maranello for the rest of his F1 career...Enzo Ferrari's biggest mistake was the way he treated Niki after he recovered from this accident
