@finalman82 that's just not fair. my insurance for my MINI is like $200 a month and I have no claims at all! I guess i'm 17, but still pretty damn ridiculous.

@finalman82 thats still no where near my Mazda3. My dad has a 944S and I drive it/work on it and am trying to learn as much as I can about them so during/after college I can have a 951 and do most maintenance on it. I just wondered if Insurance was insane.

@MangoSmoothie16 Insurance on my old 944T with comp and collision (in Hawaii) was about 75/mo. I was 21 with a couple of points on my record.
For a teen I'd assume it's a bit more. Maybe teetering near $100

That sounds great, how much did the whole set up cost? I'm looking into getting a 944 turbo

The entire set up was about $750 to $800. That includes parts only. I am lucky enough to have a friend with a mig welder so I didn't have to pay any labor. It took some work and removing some heat shields to get it just right but well worth it. I also added a 4" flexible coupling coming off the exhaust manifold with reduced a significant amount vibration thoughout the car.
