A CONCISE GUIDE TO COMPRESSION

Compression...probably one of the most essential techniques for music producers. In this tutorial we show you how the compressor works, and what compression can do.

First, we go over the basics of compression, and how to use it, what the parameters do, like attack, release, threshold...and then apply these to drums. Second, we compress a sustained strings loops to show how the compressor can be used in different situations. I like that you took time to explain the difference between the compression of drums and the compression of other audio.

Have you thought about making a "part -2" to this that goes a little more in-depth into things like side-chaining and bass-ducking?
