Appropriation is a term used to describe a style of artistic video formate dealing with the finding of footage that you didn't create and editing it in a way to make your own meaning. In this video I used clips and sounds from a variety of different Horror films dating from the 1910s all the way to the 1960s. The musical pieces are the themes to Dawn of the Dead 1978, The Amityville Horror 1979, and Cannibal Holocaust 1980. The text pieces are cut outs from an Exerpt from the 1920 version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

The messages intended in this piece reflects the difference between Love and True Love and the heart break that goes along with them.
