Super Bean - Privates on Parade (Live in L.A.)

Steve Moramarco returns with Super Bean, the logical extension of his legendary Silver Lake 90's band Bean. Gwynne (Nipper Seaturtle) Kahn is replaced by Greg Mora on bass, and Pete (Smiley) Fullerton handles drums. IMO Moramarco is one of the ten best songwriters to emerge from the East L.A. music scene. A friend and peer of Beck, Steve's first version of this song was the flipside of an early Beck 7 inch single. Moramarco also fronts the punk/soul/swing/rock band The Abe Lincoln Story. Ambitious, funny, theatrical, prolific and shamelessly over the top, Steve has never been afraid of reaching for the Big Concept. Recorded 8/13/11 at his backyard party a couple of weeks before L.A's Sunset Junction went bye-bye.
