I fully agree! I have told people this 4 years. Ty cobb was great for his era, but Rickey Henderson is much better than he was. I due to natural progression.
-
@htv122 no skills when you're dead
-
To say Floyd is one of the greatest boxers fighters ever would be very fair at this point...top 10 for sure.
-
Floyd's legacy is not sealed yet.....you cant compare Floyd to Sugar Ray Robbinson at this point...
-
this is nonsense, floyds best fights were deigo, gotti and oscar....hopkins has a overall BETTER career & prime fighters on his list and could be considered the best middle weight ever with over 20 title defenses...roy was big if not bigger than floyd and what happened when he fought a real slick BLACK fighter, he got the buisness...skill dont mean shit when you fight bums...time i start making videos
-
good video slim and yea IMO Floyd is better overall than robinson and he is the best of this generation. Eventually someone will be better but right now money got it. Too many bammas be nastalgic and can't move on.
-
@mog5020 that would be a gud fight. a close fight but i would put my money on MONEY. so would da bookies and thats for a reason. superior skills superior defence. numbers dont lie lol
-
@mog5020 lol so!? holifield still beat him UD. No1 is saying that floyd would definately knock srr out. As for seeing SSR 'Speed & Power', any1 can look fast and powerful against BUMS! (ask Pacman) Joe Louis died in da 80's BEFORE floyd was boxing so his opinion is somewhat onesided lool.
the GURU should STOP speaking :D
Sugar Ray Robinson (born Walker Smith Jr., May 3, 1921 – April 12, 1989) was an African-American boxer. cited as the greatest boxer of all time,His performances in the welterweight and middleweight divisions prompted sportswriters to create "pound for pound" rankings.
Robinson was 85–0 as an amateur with 69 of those victories coming by way of knockout, 40 in the first round. He turned pro in 1940 at 19 and by 1951 had a professional record of 128–1–2 with 84 k o's the GURU has spoken

@mog5020 Lmao I'm not dissing this is my opinion and I'm entitled to it and you have yours that you're entitled to. I respect Sugar Ray he was a tremendous athlete but to say that he would beat Floyd is crazy. He doesn't have the skill to beat Floyd. Also wtf makes you think that Sugar Ray would be successful hitting Floyd? Sugar Ray was offensive minded and threw wild looping punches I think Floyd would pick him apart. He won a lot of fights I respect his legacy but he's not as skilled as Floyd

@mog5020 im wid htv122. who wer those 85 fighters and who wer those 128 fighters. looking at their records on boxrec. the majority of them wer absolute BUMS! floyd would have that many wins and probs KO's too if he fought that many bums. Sugar Ray was a great fighter but skillwise floyd is far superior. we all kno dat skills pay da bills....easy fight for floyd

@TIMAYYY88 thanks bro I get tired of saying the same shit over and over smh. If Floyd fought all the fighters at 130, 135, 140 and 148 he would be 142-0. They don't even judge Floyd be the same standards that they judge other fighters cause if Floyd fought a guy that's 24-13-4 at this point in his career people would say Floyd fought a bum. Baldimir wasn't defeated in 12 years and Floyd beat him and people were saying Baldimir was a bum even tho he beat the welterweight champ..smh
