Gilgamesh was actually the King of Uruk which was in Mesopotamia. He was a sort of like a monster though, killing Humbaba and Enkidu destroying the Bull of Heaven. My 8th grade ancient history teacher showed this to us. It was awesome! We are studying Ishmael and Gilgamesh.
