  • I haven't said the added line since I was in fourth grade. I think it's ridiculous and disrespectful to all the non-Christians in a country that is supposed to be a melting pot of different beliefs and cultures. I dislike the "In God We Trust" on money too and of course am already putting up with only being able to buy Madonna and Jesus stamps at the supermarket (and it's not even Thanksgiving yet!)

  • The added line wrecks the rhythm of the poem too. Disgraceful on so many levels. Why do believers have to wedge their supernatural superstitious ghosts into any gap they find.

Treat your god like your genitals - don't try to stick it into everything or stick everything into it. It's disgusting.

  • maybe you godhaters would prefer the original intent of the pledge which was a salute like the nazi's and it this godless version was written by fascist socialist.. who wanted total government control of all schools well gee we have that part hows it workin for us? Maybe if your mother was forced how ti put a condom on you wouldn't even be here or or or wait!!! maybe if we didit your way you woulda been aborted and not here being stupid!!

  • @wftnvideo I got to know him once when I was like 1st or 2nd grade. Then I stopped believing in imaginary friends (since they never come through in the end).

  • @krisndoghaus

"In God We Trust" isn't just a line on our money...it happens to be the NATIONAL MOTTO of this nation, like it or not. This nation was, as history clearly shows, founded by Christians who sought God's blessing on this land...they got it, and even people who don't like God or believe in Him have reaped the benefit. Sorry that you feel like you're being force-fed Jesus...but, He is a pretty good guy to know if you'd give Him a chance.

  • Francis Bellamy loves you.

  • i secretly liked saying the pledge of Allegiance at school, i even performed with class mates in song at the foot ball games good times goodtimes lol

  • i never got why it says world war III

  • @joeiacovino "Out of many, one" Beautiful, poignant, and as relevant today as it was back in 1782 when the founding fathers chose it.

  • Restore the TRADITIONAL pledge!! (or even better still - get rid of this MaCarthy-istic bullshit entriely).

  • @krisndoghaus I feel you bro. I believe with everything you say. Haven't said "under god" since Kindergarten.

  • The way it should be.
