Coca Cola buys 230 tons of cocal leaf while the governments that sell it wage war on the campesino, funded primarily by the US. While Coca-Cola doesn't contain cocaine, the active ingredient in coca leaf, it removes it from the leaves for pharmaceutical sales, conserving the flavor compounds which are added to the sweet soda.
