For being the lead singer of Slayer Tom's very soft spoken and down to earth. He seems cool.

No shit, man. They were so mellow and cool. (More so than I knew, and I grew up listening to them and went to a show on the US leg of that tour.) They seem like smart guys. In the last ten or so years, they just seem to come across as stupid and angry.
