16mm film footage taken by a member of the 261st Coast Artillery Battalion, Delaware Army National Guard in 1941. This footage begins with the unit packing up and departing the Laurel Armory in Laurel, Delaware and boarding a train bound for Fort DuPont, which is located just outside of Delaware City, Del. This digital copy of the original 16mm film was given to me by a descendant of the soldier, who served in the 261st during World War Two.
