The first assignment in my animation class this semester was to create a flip book incorporating an entrance/exit, stretch and squash, and metamorphosis. I shot it on the school's equipment a week later to see how it would look. Turns out it's harder to make images register on tiny note cards than you'd think.
The song is "Olley Oxen Free" by Terry S. Taylor. It's from the game The Neverhood. I let the animation loop a couple of times so the music could play through, so if you're watching over and over waiting for something new to happen... stop it.
This is really cool, needs to be longer though, also, the loop just makes it boring.

Thanks, yeah. Not really trying to pretend it isn't just a 6-second loop, but it felt silly to play such a tiny sliver of the song. Also, I wanted to let people see it once or twice through without making them hit "replay", so, two birds and all that.
