Rebel is a 15.1 hand gelding, registered with the TWHBEA and SSHBEA, a ribbon winner in Tennessee and Mississippi. His foal date is April 8, 2002. He is black and white splashed all over, creating a very pretty, flashy and unusual face.
Rebel has been shown in Tennessee, winning 1st place in the Juvenile 12-17 Lite Shod class at the Calsonic Arena in Shelbyville in July 2006. He was shown in Mississippi winning 1st and 2nd place in multiple classes.
Rebel is very athletic and has been schooled in jumping barrels and poles. He has great endurance and has been trail ridden extensively. In the last two months, he has been trail ridden at Big South Fork, East Fork, Bucksnort, Natchez Trace and Percy Warner Park. Rebel is very sure footed, intelligent, and learns quickly. Most recently he has learned to side pass and on the video you will see him open and close a gate for the first time.
He is a very good candidate for the Spotted Saddle Sport Horse Association as his versatility and athleticism lends him to be a contender in all classes.
He as the best ground manners you have ever seen and stands still for mounting and dismounting. Rebel loads easily, clips, loves a bath, ties well and will even hold his foot up for the farrier. He crosses water with no problem, goes over logs, and does very well riding in a large group.
In the video you will see Rebel do a lot of the things I have described above. You will also see how smooth his gait is and that he is colored similarly to his grandfather, The Pusher C.G.
