I need you to know, this won't be broken.

I don't even know where to begin.

I've been really busy recently. I was away for a few weeks and when I've been home I've been at the barn constantly.

I could not love my horse more. He's been doing incredibly recently. Absolutely incredibly. I am so proud of and happy with him.

I leave for college in a week and a half. It seems surreal and I am very excited for the new experience but utterly dreading leaving Hershey. Thank goodness I know he's being well cared for and will get some love while I'm gone.

My life is changing, hugely, but the love I have for this horse never will. I just hope when I get back from being gone for so long he gives me the same look when he hears me yell "Hersh!"

I don't know what it's like to be in college and leave my horse, but when Doug left it felt like he'd never come back. Knowing you, and from watching nearly every single one of your videos, Hershey isn't going to love sight of anything that you two have. It's remarkable, and nothing will stop that.
