A small "video" of a Hohner Symphonic 30 that was in my repair-shop. Nice organ!

  • I bought one on eBay but can figure out how to get sound out of it. It has two jacks for pedals but no standard instrument cable. How was yours connected to produce sound?

  • @trashbaggage This one (no longer mine) was modded with a normal instrument-socket, easier to connect.

  • Sounds nice. You've been repairing it, would it be worth buying such an organ ? They come up quite frequently on ebay and I was thinking of buying one.

    Thanks for the video.

  • If you want a small organ from the early 60´s it´s a good buy, if you find one in fine condition. Be aware that there is some hard-to-find tubes inside, if you need to replace them.

  • Is one of the keys missing a rank? It's like one particular key is sounding thinner than the others.

  • Hmm.. the keys all responded good when I tested it after the repair. I´ll better have a look at it.

  • @Saddox Hi, I'm considering one of these organs. Which tubes (valves) are inside the Hohner? I have reasonable stocks of ECC83, EF86. EL84.

  • I just worked on one of these. Bad lower D#'s. Light was out. Replaced it, still no good. Found bad 5.1M resistor open. Replaced w/ 2 x 10M in parallel and it lights but the notes were way low! Replaced old lamp back in and it worked fine after tuning a divider on A#'s. ! Nice 60's build for sure!

  • i have two questions

how much cost an organ "hohner symphonic 32" (1971 material: wood)
