Egypt picked the fight long before Ex7-12. Ex1:15-22 is perfectly clear Egypt initiated murder, insulting God who gave life to every Egyptian home. Why accuse God of evil for ending tyrannical abuse? You must be racist! God dealt very gently with Egypt, when one truly considers how Egypt had returned evil for good. Israel saved the life of Egypt ONLY through the one slave Jew Joseph in Gen41:57. Humble yourself before your maker, the Author of Life. Please soften your heart to wisdom.

Have another read of Exodus chapters 7 through 12. It's one of the most appalling stories in literature. God hardens Pharaoh's heart repeatedly, then brings these horrible plagues, then kills the eldest son of EVERY Egyptian household and of their slaves, their prisoners, even their livestock, and all so that he can show off his magical powers. There was not one home without a death. AND God had his people rob the Egyptians before they left. With a god like that, who needs enemies?
