This is a montage of various photos and videos (much of them found on the Internet) that I put together for the opening of a meeting of upper management at my company. The managers were coming to Cincinnati from all over the globe and we wanted to have a short film introducing them to the city.

Contains: "Cincinnati Lou', "Cincinnati, Ohio", "Susie Cincinnati", "Welcome to the Jungle", "Fear Da Tigers (Cincinnati Bengals)", WKRP in Cincinnati"

Dude, Cincy is known as the "queen of the west." The saying was made famous by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, one of the greatest American poets, in his poem "Catawba Wine" and due to its tremendous growth in the early 1800's. Charlotte is called it because its named after the wife of king George the third. I think CIncy has a better clam since it has to due more with America and less to do with the wife of a British king, but what do i know.

  • Charlotte Nc is the real Queen city but nice video anyway

  • What about Fountain Square? That beautiful fountain? Genius of Water?

  • I loved watching this video while eating dinner here in Cincinnati. I love Cincinnati Ohio.

  • @Reyrocksall that was the superbowl mvp the bengals picked up,

  • Much Love to the Nati!!!

  • @Reyrocksall FAIL... ;-)

  • 3:32 .... Bucs Win? WRONG CITY!

  • Jesus Christ, did the managers see this and flee the city?

  • to katiezmomme----- i see your confusion about my remark about turkeys. it was a reference to an episode of wkrp in cincinnati. in that episode, a bunch of turkeys were dropped from a helicopter or airplane, and the turkeys didn't fly, and the turkeys crashed to the ground. i think their wings had been clipped, and those who dropped the turkeys didn't know that the wings had been clipped.

  • @katiezmomme

Songs used: "Cincinnati Lou' by Merle Travis,

    "Cincinnati, Ohio" by Connie Smith,

"Susie Cincinnati" by The Beach Boys,

"Welcome to the Jungle" 50's cover version by Big Daddy then original version by Guns N Roses,

"Fear Da Tigers" by Cincinnati Bengals with Bootsy Collins,

"WKRP in Cincinnati" by Steve Carlisle.

  • i watched jerry springer and norma rashad and luken on channel 5. i lived in forest park, and i lived on flora street inside the city limits. i recall krogers as well. i still have relatives in delhi township. i must admit that i likely don't have the accent associated with cincinnati. i spent some of my childhood near detroit, and i was in canada quite a bit. some of my earliest memories are from canada, even though my family members were never canadians.

  • well, i lived in a number of places, not just cincinnati. i loved the skyline chili, especially with cheese and spaghetti in it. i visited the oktoberfest stuff at fountain square a number of times, even though i'm not from a german background. maybe i was wrong about the turkeys having their wings clipped.i have photos of me standing by the statue of the winged pigs by the ohio river.

  • who from cincy forgets bowling... doc holidays is the shintz. western bowl a rama( heard it was closing down, all of you cincys reading this send a western bowl a rama beer bottle to me)and a crave case of white castles covered in skyline!!!! yes

  • where do you get clipped turkeys???? its pigs fly in cincinnati!! nostalgic or not your not from cincy, this is not a home town you should be claiming, you forgot.....skyline, larosa's, greaters, friendlys, northpark, forest fair, tri county, and freakin bowling!!!

  • cincinnati is great, nostalgia is one thing only the natives have.. your in the mix of greatness, the reds were at thier greatest during the time your dad liked them, but much like a person moving to Dallas in the 90s, cant really claim that.plus no one living in cincinnati even likes the show, wkrp,it was actually boring except for les nesman,( just jokin Cincy!)

  • I grew up in cincinnati, colerain and lots of love cheviot, I need to know the songs and artists though, for a family reunion.only missing the middle three, but would also like to know where to find the old scool who dey for the bengals( who dey , who dey, who dey think gonna beat them bengals!!) any marge schott quotes would be awesome, with out recognizing pete roses downfall!

  • to ticket2loservill----- indeed. and yet there's a question: "does cincinnati miss YOU ? " lol

  • copying and pasting is a great way to leave a message numerous times. nevertheless i generally don't leave the same message more than once at a video unless a few days have gone by.

  • hmmm it was just interestig to read one and the same article twice...

  • to HopeOcaso--- sure. i do that kind of thing with a lot of videos, and not only those about cincinnati.

  • are you posting this under every video of Cincinnati ????

  • this video/audio makes me nostalgic for one of my home towns. my dad likes the cincinnati reds even though he lived in the cincinnati area for only about 2 years ( about 1969-1971 ). my dad was a fan of the cincinnati reds even before he moved to the cincinnati area. i lived in cincinnati ( including the city limits ) during much of the 1990s. cincinnati wkrp was a great show with a great theme tune. i believe that most domestic turkeys have had their wings clipped, thus making them flightlesss.
