A short video I made highlighting the relationship between Imperial Japan and the Hawaiian Kingdom.

Website: http://hawaiianhistorian.blogspot.com

Note: feel free to pause the video since some of the wording may move fast due to the time limit Youtube places on videos.

ALSO for those of you who think this is pro-Imperial Japan, this video is about Japanese-Hawaiian relations BEFORE WWII. Prior to the 1920s, Japan was an ally of the US, UK, and France and fought Germany during WWI. The relationship between Japan and say Korea and China which could be characterized as war-like was far different than the relations between Hawai'i and Japan BEFORE WWII was very warm and no comparison can be made. Again for those who have not bothered to read the title, this video about JAPANESE-HAWAIIAN RELATIONS UP UNTIL 1917 not Japanese-US relations, not WWII, BUT JAPANESE-HAWAIIAN RELATIONS UP UNTIL 1917.

  • 7:12. Is that an acutal fact? Compare to the U.S., all citizens of every ethnic background, or in this case, Chinese, but in general, could become a national of the Hawaiian Kingdom?

  • @DeltaEagle7700

Yes, under the laws of the Hawaiian Kingdom up until 1887, any race could be naturalized as a citizen and anyone born on Hawaiian soil was automatically a Hawaiian citizen. That a reason why many of the missionary descendants had dual citizenship--they were born from American parents therefore were American citizens but since they were born in Hawai'i, they were also Hawaiian subjects automatically. In 1887, all Asians lost their right to vote and be naturalized.

  • @hokulani78. Wow! That very amazing! This puts America below Hawaii on forms of civil rights seeing how certain people could only become citizens of America, in Hawaii, everyone had the right reguardless of race, or ethnicity. That's impressive! Well, yeah, until our traitorous minister along with other citizens took away that right!

  • How a little bit history of Singapura ! :D

  • As the pages of time passes, the truth is revealed. Hokulani, mahalo nui loa.

  • Aloha Kakahiaka Hokulani,

Mahalo Plenty for posting this on YouTube, as arousing the consciousness of all 6 billion human beings on the planet is what all of us needs to be reminded to consistently do daily. In regards to making sure we address who the culprit and enemy is of humanity, it is the "New World Order," who again is really the "Free Masons," who have controlled all vessels and all forms of commerce through the "Post Office," better known as the "Universal Postal Union

  • The marines destroy the crown ! Woah that an insult aye!
