  • you know.. if you put magnets on the bottom of that thing... and

put some springs there. and coils underneigth.. the vibrations would generate electricity.

  • @josephdupont

True, but it would be nowhere near enough to be useful. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should! ;)

  • how big was the hole u drilled?

  • @MrRedneck107

A bit over a cm across... There is no set size that works, it depends on the dimensions of the can.

  • Why does it need cooling if its using a metal can? I doubt the temperature will get hot enough the tin can. Though it is needed for the glass jar types

  • @danagol1985 It's to keep the fuel from vapourising too quickly, which suffocates the engine. The can will never get hot enough to melt.

  • @josephdupont Enough electricity to run a spellchecker?

  • where can i buy denatured alcohol

  • @Insomniac535 how big is the hole?

  • @Insomniac535 excuse me...can we use gasoline ????

  • @Insomniac535 for some reason when i use metho it doesn't work very well, its ok with nitro methanol but otherwise it whooshes and then stops. BTW how do you keep it under the water. i know how to for my one but i was just wondering how you set yours up.

  • It looked like the water was near boiling at one point. A new way to heat a can of soup - using a soup can engine.

  • wolrds first farting engine
