Had a great day back at the fields we've been detecting, 2 silver rings and I think our oldest coin yet. So far we've found 4 pieces of jewelry at this park and we've probably not even done 1% of it, so I'm looking forward to getting back there again soon.

Nice finds...that stone is weird alright, Makes me want to go out and do some detecting, haven't found much the last half dozen outings so gave up for awhile :O(

@OtagoMark Cheers mate, still not 100% what it is. Had a few bad hunts before this run, I just changed up my hunting spots, still can't believe how little ground I've covered.

Great vid. Love the old Florin. Ours went 50% silver in 1946, everything before that is sterling. Dont know when you guys cut the silver back. Lots of great finds there. Two rings and the 1905 penny great stuff. HH.

@NQExplorers Cheers. Ours were 50% silver from 1933-1946, pity they changed it. Our current coinage is plated steel and plated aluminum, the steel ones don't seem to hold up to well at all, gotta feel bad for the future coin shooters.
