I found this at last!! They used this song in the Albertville Winter Olympics as the Olympic Handoff song to Norway...I've been humming this song on and off since the early 90s and could never find out what the name of the song was until today!!! On my video tape of the Olympics, the announcers only said it was some sort of Norwegian Nocturne song....this song is fantastic!!!
