Fusionman -Yves Rossy's 1st Official Flight. May 14th 2008

Yves Rossy, an experienced airline and fighter pilot, is passionate about flying. He knows the skies well, having travelled across them for a long time when piloting his airplanes. His dream of flying without a cabin around him was meticulously conceived, developed and constructed during his leisure time, up to the point where it became practically feasible. Ingenious, investigative and daring, he knew how to leverage his experience and aeronautics technology to make it happen.

I don't like when they talk like at 01:54, "the man can fly" - "fusion between men and birds" - "moving the body makes him move" - " first time in history ".. it's all bs imho. The man is flying since 1900 with the use of different aicrafts, and this is another aicraft isn't it?, and with its limited size it has limited capabilities, no landing/takeoff for example... about moving the body to move, is what any skydiver in the world do. fusion between birds and men ? wheres the connection ?

so little understanding that I project/build little UAV planes.. sorry but 15 years in aviation and aerobatic skydiving really didn't teach me anything... c'mon duude.. these tv shows are targeted to generic public to impress people with big words ... as it was with Patrick and others before, good skydivers offcourse, but hey, show some Olav Zipser or some Team Future indoor skydiving if you wanna show understanding of flight

" he flew just with the body?? " is he serious?? what about that carbon fiber wing with jetfuel turbines?? the flying man? Yes as any pilot, with a smaller airplane.
