this guys an idiot

yes the movie was definitely overhyped, but it was a truly scary film that leaves a lasting and frightening impression on your psyche

but hes an idiot because he contradicts, first he says its great, then he says its not all that great...then he says you should just wait to buy/rent it on DVD, then he tells people who haven't seen it to go catch it? WTF

anyhow, this movie is extremely creepy, i couldnt sleep the first night after I saw it

first off it was not that scary. second i did say it was great and that the ending was great. third i said to definetly check it out. think before you same something.

very good review u said alot of the things i was defly thinking

i thought for the ending she should of just looked into the camera and instead of morphing into the screen she should of just stared into it for a good couple seconds and then the battery of the camera runs out

i thought that would of been a little more creepier

I do think the jumping at the camera at the end was a little out of the "documentary" feel of the movie, however i do think its a very creepy ending...i thought the riginal ending with the cops was boring and the alternate ending was good but i think i was have stuck with what they did. Over all though a very creepy movie, i bought it as soon as i saw it lol. Im not scared by movies anymore and i got chills a couple times in this one.

I might rent on dvd but I have seen clips of the endings and I had to back away from my screen. Ever since I saw The Ring I never be able to sit up close to the television screen again.

watching it in cinema sucks. i watched it and kids were whispering and joking throughout. the cinema actually RUINED this movie. cant wat to watch it alone in my house on dvd
