  • On a positive side, we all remember David and listen to his singing as if he is here with us today.

Not forgotten and site like YouTube is a place that keeps David in memories and introduces his singing to new generations as well

  • I love Dave, I wish he went to rehab before it was too late...same with Jaco Pastorius, both musical virtuso's...RIP both of them..... :(

  • Don't forget Gary Thain, the bassist who's unique playing style contributed much to Heep's sound. Really a sad story how drugs took his life too early.

  • A truly sad story. I'm a big fan of UH and David Byron. Sad to see how talented people can ruin themselves with drugs and drink. It seemed like we were losing a lot of talented people (Tommy Bolin from Deep Purple for instance) through drugs and alcohol in the seventies.

  • I've got some of Ken Hensley's solo stuff along with R Diamond, but am yet to have

    his solo stuff.

  • yes, very unfortunate. I can't wait to get a hold of his solo stuff.

  • It is unfortunate that so many singers with so much less talent got so much more publicity.
