John Conn can be found at Union Square selling his photographs. http://www.theconnartist.net/ The Bowery Flop House photos are stark and lonely, even haunting. He also has subways shots from the 1970's as well,,,some sweet but many disturbing.
Just recently read an article about Conn's Subway pictures and was instantly enthralled by some of his work in the early 80s...I feel he really captured the psychotic madhouse nature and isolation of that time period in NYC and really opened my eyes to the newly adapted cleanliness of New York at the present time
