  • @tomkidd123456789 I once took a metro 1.3HLS up to 115mph and the rear tyre burst! The engine never went wrong until I decided to clean it with REDEX one day - that completely ruined it and the head gasket went soon after. They were great little cars at the time in the 80's. Cheap to buy and run and early ones just had the mini engine. The suspension was a nightmare, in 1989 it cost £140 for one front unit to be fitted. The rear went too. The car lived for 12 years and fell apart.
